Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy explains when Wular Data Lake Private Limited ("WularData", "we" or "us") provides refunds, and how you can cancel a service. It forms part of the Customer Agreement. If a signed Order or quotation for your service states different refund or cancellation terms, those terms apply.
1. 7-day money-back guarantee — VPS and cloud servers
If you are a new customer and you cancel your first VPS hosting or cloud server order within 7 days of the service being activated, we will refund the Fees you paid for that service in full.
This guarantee:
- applies once per customer, to the first VPS or cloud server order on an Account;
- covers the plan's recurring Fee only, and does not cover setup fees, software licences (such as Windows Server or control panels), additional IP addresses, domain names or other add-ons;
- does not apply to accounts that have been suspended or terminated for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy or the Customer Agreement, or where the order was placed using false information; and
- does not apply to Forex VPS orders that have been used for live trading, or to any custom or enterprise configuration ordered by quotation.
2. Services that are not refundable
Except as stated in Section 1 or Section 4, the following are not refundable once the service has been activated or the order has been submitted:
- dedicated servers, including custom hardware configurations;
- colocation services, rack space, power and cross-connects;
- domain name registrations, renewals and transfers;
- software licences and third-party subscriptions (including Microsoft licences);
- setup, installation, migration and one-time professional-services fees;
- managed services, AMC and consulting work already performed; and
- SSL certificates and other third-party products.
3. Cancelling a service
You can cancel a service at any time through the Customer Portal or by opening a support ticket. To avoid being billed for the next cycle, your cancellation request must reach us before the start of that cycle.
- Monthly services stop at the end of the current billing month. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused days.
- For services billed quarterly, half-yearly or annually, or with a minimum term stated in your Order, the Fees for the remainder of the paid period or the minimum term are not refundable.
- When a service ends, all data stored on it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered (Customer Agreement, Section 6.6). Take a complete backup before the service end date.
4. Billing errors and duplicate payments
If you have been charged incorrectly or have paid the same invoice twice, we will refund the excess amount in full, or, at your choice, credit it to your Account. Please notify us within 30 days of the payment.
5. Downtime and service credits
Downtime is not compensated by refunds. Where we do not meet the commitments in our Service Level Agreement, you may be eligible for service credits as set out in that SLA.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund, open a support ticket from the Customer Portal or use the contact form at wulardata.com/contact, and include:
- the email address registered on your Account;
- your Account or customer ID;
- the invoice number(s) and the service concerned; and
- the reason for your request.
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a further 5 to 10 business days for the amount to appear in your account. Where GST has been charged, we will issue a credit note for the refunded amount.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. If a chargeback is raised for a valid charge, we may suspend the related services until the matter is resolved, and recover any chargeback fees incurred.
8. Contact
